PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Simon Clark — Environmental Assessment Practitioner & Environmental Advisor
Simon Clark is an environmental professional with extensive consulting experience supporting infrastructure, renewable energy, water, marine, mining, municipal and industrial development projects across Southern Africa and wider African project environments.
His experience spans environmental assessment and authorisation, environmental screening and feasibility, environmental compliance, environmental auditing, environmental management, project permitting, stakeholder engagement and environmental risk assessment.
Having contributed to projects from early-stage feasibility through planning, authorisation, construction, operation and rehabilitation, Simon brings a practical understanding of the environmental challenges faced by developers, engineering teams, project managers, contractors and asset owners.
This experience informs ECOassure's field-based approach, where environmental requirements are considered within the broader context of project design, construction realities, regulatory requirements, specialist evidence, spatial constraints and environmental receptors.
The objective is practical, defensible environmental advice that supports informed project decisions while maintaining environmental responsibility and professional accountability.
